1.What make and model is your logburner?

If you have a freestanding logfire and

you're not sure what  the make or model is,

try checking the side or the back of the firebox. All logfires should have a metal tag that includes the make, model and other details.

You do not need to worry if there is an expiry date, it does not apply directly to your fire.

If you can, take a photo of this and send it to us with the make and model details, or you can email it directly.

If your logfire box is inbuilt and not freestanding we should be able to identify it from a photo taken of the front.

The make name should be located somewhere on the front of the logfire

The model name should be located on the metal tag on the back of the logfire

2.What part do you need ?

While a lot of logfire parts perform somewhat similar functions, there are often a lot of different names for those parts and whay they are called can also depend on many variables such as the year

the logfire was made, or what a particular brand calls that part.

If you are not sure of the part name it will help us quickly identify what part you need by

sending us a photo and if possible measurements.

See the examples of how to take the best pictures to send us below.

Lay the part flat on a plain back ground.

Take photos of the width, height, and length of the part, from above is usually best.

Include a ruler or tape measure laid next to the part in the picture if possible, so that the numbers  can be clearly seen, or write down the measurements and include them in the part order form or an email.

Can you remove the part you want to replace from the logfire?

With the best lighting you can get in the room, take      several pictures of the part that needs replacing.

*  If the part is inside the firebox and is hard to get a        picture of, taking photos from several angles will          help us identify the part.

*  A close up and further away shot gives us more of        an idea of the size of the part and where it fits

*  Again, using a ruler or measuring tape in the photo      can help us with scale for accurate sizing.

*  You may need to add a brief description, for                  example "back left firebrick" or anything that

can help us identify what the part in the                          picture you want to replace is.
